Review and shortlist photos
Build a private shortlist with Pick, Undecided, and Leave out, then choose which photos belong in your galleries.

What each decision means
Review decisions are private notes. They do not change photo visibility, gallery membership, sales, or the published portfolio.
| Decision | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pick | A photo you want to consider for your portfolio or a gallery. |
| Undecided | You have reviewed the photo but have not chosen whether to include it. |
| Leave out | Keep the photo in your library, but leave it out of this shortlist. |
| Not reviewed | No completed review decision has been recorded. This is different from deliberately choosing Undecided. |
Review one photo
Open Edit photo and expand Review decision. Choose Pick, Undecided, or Leave out, then select Save photo. Use Save and next to continue editing the next photo.
Review a batch
In Photos, open Review photos. The review uses your current filters and opens up to 50 photos at a time. You can continue a saved review or begin the next unreviewed batch.
Decisions in the review workflow save as you work. Check the saving status; if a save fails, use Retry before leaving. A decision shown locally is not proof that a failed save reached your account.
Filter and set decisions together
Use the review filters in Photos to find picks, undecided photos, photos you have left out, or photos not yet reviewed.
To change several decisions, enter Select mode, select the photos, and choose Set decision. Check the selected count before applying a bulk change.
Turn picks into a gallery
Filter to your picks, select the photos you want, and use Add to gallery. Arrange the gallery and check its visibility separately. Preview and publish when it is ready.
Leave out does not remove an image from a live gallery. Use photo visibility or remove the gallery placement, then publish if you want the public portfolio to change.
Open Studio to make the change.
