Import an existing portfolio

Bring a ZIP or organized folder into private photos and draft galleries, review the selection, and publish when you are ready.

Prepare a ZIP or folder

Export finished photographs from your existing service. Keep one folder per gallery when possible, and use recognizable folder names. Keep the original export as a backup.

Choose the best available files. A web-sized copy cannot recover the detail of an original. Themes, custom pages, passwords, shop data, and domain settings do not transfer with photographs.

Open the importer

In Photos, open More and choose Import portfolio. Choose the source service for its export instructions, or use the generic ZIP or folder option.

Use the file types and limits shown in Studio. The review reports unsupported files, the selected size, and your remaining account capacity before you continue.

Review before importing

Check the proposed galleries and their names, select the photographs to keep, and deselect anything you do not need. Review ungrouped photographs as well as gallery selections.

Exact duplicates found during review are deselected. You can select one deliberately if you need another copy. This is not a guarantee that every visually similar image or every photo already in your account will be detected.

For a ZIP or folder, continue to the normal upload review. Check visibility and gallery placement there before starting the upload. Imported galleries begin as unpublished drafts.

Public URLs and connected sources

Some source services offer another import method in Studio. Use it only when that option is shown. A public URL may provide web-sized copies rather than original files; protected or unavailable images may not transfer.

These are one-time copies, not continuing synchronization. ISO100 does not delete the source photographs or cancel the source service.

If an import is incomplete

Read the reported result before starting again. Files already transferred may still be processing, and successful transfers remain in your account even if other files fail.

Where offered, use Retry failed photos to retry the failed part. Otherwise check the Photos library and upload results, then select only the missing files. Check storage and photo limits before retrying.

Check and publish

Review the processed photographs, titles, captions, alt text, focal points, gallery order, and visibility. Preview the portfolio before publishing. Importing does not publish it.

Keep the old portfolio available until you have checked the new one and any links or domain changes you need to make.

Open Studio to make the change.
