Amazon affiliate links
Recommend the equipment you use with your own Amazon Associates links in your portfolio gear section. Amazon affiliate links are available on Plus; gear lists and personal notes are available on Free.

Before you start
Use your own Amazon Associates account for the Amazon storefront you want to link to. Amazon manages participation, qualifying purchases, commissions, and payments. ISO100 preserves your links and tracking information; it does not create an Associates account for you.
In Associates Central, open Account Settings and edit your website list to add your public portfolio address, including your custom domain if you use one. Keep that list current when your address changes.
This feature is separate from the ISO100 referral program, which rewards referrals to ISO100.
Get the right product link
If SiteStripe is missing, check that you are signed in with your Associates account and enable it under Associates Central → Account Settings → Associates SiteStripe Options. Labels and available tools may vary by storefront.
- Open the exact product
In a desktop browser, sign in to the Amazon storefront using the account associated with Amazon Associates. Find the product page and check the model, lens mount, size, and kit or body-only option against the gear you recommend.
- Generate a SiteStripe text link
Use SiteStripe at the top of the product page and select Get Link / Text. Check the selected Associate ID and tracking ID belong to you; SiteStripe can remember the last IDs you used.
- Copy the generated URL
Copy the short or full link from SiteStripe. Its short link includes your tracking information. Copy the URL only, not HTML embed code, and keep the link intact.
- Check the destination
Open the copied link and confirm it reaches the intended product and variant. Use the generated Associates link rather than assuming a normal address-bar URL or shopping share link credits your account.
Add the link to your gear
- Open your gear list
In Studio, open Portfolio, select Edit portfolio, and choose the About tab. Find the Gear section. Add the equipment you want to recommend, or find an existing item.
- Paste the Amazon link
Select Add Amazon link on the item and paste your generated URL. Each item supports one Amazon link. Add a personal note if it helps explain how you use the equipment.
- Save, preview, and publish
Enable the gear section, select Save changes, and preview your changes. Publish when ready, then check the View on Amazon link on your public portfolio. Saving alone does not update the published page.
Supported links and storefronts
Use an HTTPS link on a supported Amazon storefront, such as amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, or amazon.com.au, or an Amazon amzn.to short link. Other retailers and third-party URL shorteners are not supported.
Choose the storefront appropriate for your audience and Associates account. ISO100 keeps the destination you supply; it does not automatically route visitors to their local Amazon store.
A link passing validation means its URL format is supported. ISO100 does not verify the product, your Associates account, or whether a purchase will qualify for commission.
Disclosure on your portfolio
When affiliate links are shown, ISO100 labels them as affiliate links and adds this disclosure above the gear list: “As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.”
Review Amazon’s disclosure guidance and the requirements for your region. Keep your recommendations accurate and your Associates account information current.
If you switch to Free
Your saved Amazon links stay in your Studio draft, but Free portfolios do not display them or the affiliate disclosure. You can remove saved links on Free; adding or changing them requires Plus. Your gear list and personal notes remain available.
Open Studio to make the change.
