Choose portfolio typography
Set the title font, weight, and size for your portfolio or a gallery, with a preview of the actual text.

Change the title style
- Open Appearance
Open Portfolio > Appearance to change the portfolio cover, or open a gallery > Appearance for its header.
- Choose Title font
Choose a built-in heading style or Custom Google Font. The style names describe a visual character; they do not restrict the kinds of photography you can show.
- Set weight and size
Built-in styles offer Regular and Bold. Custom families offer their available standard weights and hide the weight control when there is only one. Use Title size to adjust the scale.
- Compare Desktop and Mobile
Look at the full name, any wrapped lines, the introduction, and the photograph. A smaller screen can wrap the same title differently.
What the controls change
Title font changes the heading treatment. The introduction and supporting interface text retain their own readable styling. A logo is an image and does not change when you select a title font.
Portfolio and gallery appearance are separate. A new preset can replace typography choices as part of its coordinated appearance settings.
Keep long titles readable
ISO100 can reduce a title to fit the available space. If the result becomes too small, shorten the title, reduce its chosen size, or try a cover with more room for text.
Ornate fonts have flourishes that extend beyond the main letters. Check the full title, accents, and descenders rather than judging the font from its name alone.
Save and publish
Save the Appearance change, preview, and publish. If you apply appearance to all galleries, review that broader scope before confirming.
Open Studio to make the change.
