Export from Lightroom to ISO100

Recommended export settings

• File format: JPEG.
• Color space: sRGB.
• Quality: 85-92.
• Resize: long edge at 2560-3840px.
• Resolution: 72 or 240 PPI. This does not affect web display.
• Output sharpening: Sharpen for Screen, Standard.
• Metadata: include copyright, contact information, title, and caption where useful.

Choose export size for the work

• Use 2560px for a reliable default that covers Plus display output and provides ample source resolution for Free.
• Use 3200 to 3840px when fine texture, large-screen presentation, or future reprocessing justifies the extra upload size.
• Use quality around 85 to 92 instead of 100. The visual difference is usually negligible on the web while the file can be much smaller.
• Avoid exporting an already compressed social-media download. Export directly from the edited master.

Lightroom Classic workflow

1. 01Finish the editEdit and select the photographs for one ISO100 gallery in Lightroom Classic.
2. 02Export the filesChoose File > Export, use the ISO100 export settings, and save the JPEGs into a folder named for the gallery.
3. 03Upload to ISO100In ISO100 Studio, create or open the matching gallery and upload the exported JPEGs.
4. 04Review and publishArrange the photos, choose the cover image, review captions and metadata, then publish the portfolio.

Lightroom desktop workflow

1. 01Select the gallery photographsFinish editing and select the images that belong in one ISO100 gallery.
2. 02Export portfolio JPEGsUse Export with JPEG, sRGB, and a long-edge size appropriate for the portfolio.

Captions and metadata

Create a reusable export preset

1. 01Configure one finished exportIn Lightroom Classic, set JPEG, sRGB, quality 85 to 92, long edge 2560px, and Screen/Standard sharpening.
2. 02Save as a presetIn the Export dialog, select Add under the preset list and name it ISO100 portfolio.
3. 03Keep gallery exports separateExport each edit pass to a folder named for the gallery and date. This makes it easier to identify which files are current before uploading.

Update an edited photo

1. 01Re-export from LightroomExport the updated edit with the same ISO100 settings.
2. 02Upload as a new photoISO100 currently treats the revised file as a new library photo. Copy the intended public details and wait until its status is Ready.
3. 03Swap gallery and cover usageAdd the new photo to each required gallery, put it in the old photo's position, and update any portfolio cover, gallery header, or portfolio thumbnail that used the old image.
4. 04Preview and publishRemove the old gallery placement, review crop focus and metadata, then preview and publish the updated portfolio.
5. 05Delete the old upload only when safeAfter checking the live result, delete the old photo if it is no longer needed. Deleting it is permanent and changes its individual photo URL.
